Vatek Environmental Successfully Commissioned Line B of the Erbil Drinking Water Treatment Plant!
We as Vatek , proud to announce the successful commissioning of Line B of the Erbil Drinking Water Treatment Plant, which is one of the bigest potable water treatment facilitiy in the Middle East with a treatment capacity of 500,000 m³/day.
The opening ceremony of the Project was honored by the presence of Erbil Regional Government Prime Minester Mr. Masrour Barzani, our Deputy General Manager Mr. Ferhat Koku also represented our Company at the Ceremony.
We take great pride in having completed the entire scope of the project including mechanical manufacturing, instrumentation, equipment supply, and commissioning with our own engineering and technical teams.

💧 The facility incorporates advanced water treatment technologies, including penstock systems, rotating bridge scraper, clariflocculator bridge scraper, polymer dosing units, sand filters, decanters, sewage transfer units, conveyor systems, gas chlorination units, and measurement instruments , ensuring high efficiency, operational reliability, and compliance with international water quality standards.
