Young Ideas and Industry Experience Came Together at Our Factory!

Factory Visit as Part of the Vocational Education Strengthening Project

We welcomed students from Mehmet Tuğrul Tekbulut Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, who received an award as part of the Vocational Education Strengthening Project carried out by the Gebze Chamber of Commerce, to our Vatek Environmental Technologies factory.

During the visit, also attended by Mr. Mustafa Sertaç Gök, Deputy Secretary General of the Gebze Chamber of Commerce, the students presented their project to our technical team. During our discussions, we shared our industry experience and provided technical information about the water and wastewater treatment sector, treatment processes and water reuse applications.

Students Presented the EKOTAR Project to Our Technical Team

As part of the visit, the students presented their project, “EKOTAR – Recycling Wastewater for Agricultural Use,” to our technical team. We listened to their presentation and technically evaluated the project, which focuses on treating wastewater for reuse in agricultural irrigation.

We received detailed information from the students about the project’s operating approach, feasibility and areas for further development. Our technical team also shared its knowledge and field experience in water recovery and provided feedback on the project. We believe this exchange of knowledge will help the students consider their project from different perspectives.

Focusing on the protection and reuse of water resources, the EKOTAR project demonstrated the students’ interest in environmental technologies and their desire to develop solutions for a sustainable future. Seeing young people seek innovative solutions to environmental challenges further strengthened our hope for the future.
